  1. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-1 Borussia Dortmund

Decent chance, Julian Brandt again the orchestrator as he picks out Achraf Hakimi on that right wing. His pull back is lovely, Thorgan Hazard finds himself in a load of space on the edge of the area but he never really commits to a shot, dragging a tame one wide.

He looks cross with himself, rightly so.

The only Portuguese player to have scored more Bundesliga goals in a season than Raphaël Guerreiro (who now has eight this season) was Hugo Almeida who managed it three times for Werder Bremen.

  3. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-1 Borussia Dortmund

Dortmund are within a point of leaders Bayern now then, in the as it stands table.

I don’t think Bayern really feel pressure but if they do, a win here would crank it back up.

  4. Bundesliga update

Kai Havertz – a true goalscoring machine – has given Leverkusen the lead at Monchengladbach in front of their 13,000 cardboard cut-out fans.

It is Paderborn 1-1 Hoffenheim, with Dennis Srbeny cancelling out the opener for the away side from Robert Skov.

And Leonardo Bittencourt has given Werder Bremen the lead at Freiburg.

  5. GOAL – Wolfsburg 0-1 Borussia Dortmund

    Raphael Guerreiro (32 mins)

There we go! Their first real attack of any note and Dortmund lead. Julian Brandt is involved on the right, Achraf Hakimi then slides a great ball down the side for Thorgan Hazard.

He cuts it back, you’d back Erling Haaland to have yet another tap in but he can’t connect, but left wing-backRaphael Guerreirois there behind him to roll home.

  6. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Just not clicking up top for Dortmund yet, they haven’t fashioned a single chance in the opening half hour. A long way to go yet but dropping points today would be a massive spanner in the title race works.

Femi John Ateyobi:Now that we are all watching the only top flight football in the world, why is Jadon Sancho on the bench again?

  10. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

A few of you are asking why Jadon Sancho isn’t playing for Dortmund – he’s coming back from an injury and with the big Bayern game coming up on Tuesday the suggestion is he’s being held back for that one.

Good effort from the hosts as they pick out that man Wout Weghorst at the far post but his header is wide. He was under pressure.

  11. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Twenty minutes in, no shots on target. All a bit stale so far.

  12. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Kevin Mbabu, ex-Newcastle, puts in a decent cross from the Wolfsburg right looking for targetman Wout Weghorst but it’s too long and strong in the end.

Joe Timothy (re 2:40):Watching Wolfsburg v Dortmund but in Malaysia perhaps the TV network are doing it? It’s so much better.

  15. Post update

    Borussia Monchengladbach 0-1 Bayer Leverkusen

  16. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Well defended Jerome Roussillon, who gets back to shut down Dortmund’s flying machine Achraf Hakimi.

  17. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Kai Havertz has scored again for Leverkusen, he’s the next very expensive cab off the rank isn’t he? Wonder where he’ll go next.

Dortmund continue to pop the ball around nicely but Wolfsburg are sitting deep and making life tough.

  18. Post update

    Wolfsburg 0-0 Borussia Dortmund

Erling Haaland is involved for the first real time, linking up play nicely on the edge of the box but he can’t get onto a cross.

Joe Timothy:Is that crowd noise I hear at Wolfsburg v Dortmund? For a TV viewer so, so much better that the training ground feel of last week. Hopefully the Premier League takes note.
